For years, I built around the skills I already knew: video editing, freelance work, film sets, office work, small projects, and survival. But the thing that kept returning was writing. I have been journaling for most of my life, trying to understand fear, ADHD, stuttering, anxiety, work, identity, exile, and the strange process of becoming someone new.
A lot of this work comes from one private wound: learning early that being seen could feel dangerous. Speaking with a stutter, speaking in a second language, recording videos, publishing thoughts, and asking for attention all touch the same fear. Dmitry Writes is where I stop hiding from that material and turn it into essays, videos, quotes, and notes.
This is not advice. It is honest reflection from inside the problem.
